Welcome to SoJo Rentals, Inc. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our vehicle rental services, website, and any associated products or offerings. By booking a rental or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Rental Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from SoJo Rentals, you must:

• Be at least 25 years old
   
• Hold a valid driver’s license issued by your state of residence, located with the USA
   
• Present a major credit  card in your name
   
• Provide proof of valid auto insurance
   

We reserve the right to deny rental service to anyone who does not meet these conditions or who presents a risk to vehicle safety or business integrity.

2. Reservations and Payments

• A valid credit card is required to confirm your reservation.
   
• Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking.
   
• Additional charges may apply for late returns, fuel replacement, cleaning, or damage. Your card will be automatically charged for any of these incidentals, unless you proactively reach out to us for different payment.
   
• Rates are subject to change and may vary by season, location, or availability.
   

3. Cancellations and No-Shows

• Free cancellation is allowed up to 72 hours before the rental time.
   
• Late cancellations may incur a $100 fee.
   
• No-shows without notice will be charged up to the full rental amount.
   

4. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

By accepting the vehicle, you agree:

• To drive responsibly and obey all traffic laws
   
• Not to operate the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol
   
• Not to use the vehicle for racing, towing, or illegal activities
   
• Not to allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
   
• To return the vehicle in the condition it was received (normal wear and tear excluded)
   

Failure to comply may result in termination of the rental, additional charges, or legal action.

5. Insurance and Liability

• The renter is responsible for all damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle unless covered by insurance.
   
• No insurance coverage options are be available at the time of booking, other than the renters own insurance.
   
• You must provide proof of coverage, and you must validate eligibility to rent vehicles on your insurance.
   
• You are liable for all fines, tolls, and violations incurred during the rental period.
   

6. Privacy and Data Use

We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This may include your name, contact details, driver’s license, payment information, and rental history. By using our services, you consent to this data use.

7. Limitation of Liability

SoJo Rentals, Inc is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
   
• Personal property lost or damaged during the rental
   
• Delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather, accidents, or road closures
   

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to cancel or terminate your reservation or rental at any time if you:

• Violate these Terms
   
• Provide false or misleading information
   
• Pose a safety risk or fail to comply with legal requirements
   

In such cases, no refund will be provided, and additional fees may apply. 

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The latest version will always be available on our website.
